CRM Figma Components
As the only designer on the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) project. I worked closely with large stakeholder teams. The core team was the Project Manager, Product Owner, a team of Development Engineers, and global Customer Service Product Teams.
Enterprise Design System
American Express had an Enterprise-wide Design Language System (DLS) that was managed by the DLS team. Being on the Design team we worked closely with the DLS team to align on components, improving the DLS, improving the components, discussing which components were not successful, and an array of other design system related concerns and upgrades.
Custom Created Components
The CRM could not use all the components of the DLS since many of CRM needs were not addressed or built-out in the DLS. That meant I had to take the initiative to build my own components (with variables) to satisfy CRM needs. One of my main goals was to make the components consistent - allowing them to be used globally from market to market with minimum or no variations. Components included: tokens, auto-layout, dynamic content, and other features.
