DJ Mixer (Claude)

Created the below DJ MIxer using Claude for Mac (desktop app) version 1.15200.0 (250bae) on 2026-06-23
Fully-functioning mixer. Upload any two audio files (MP3 or M4A) and have fun. It is intentional that you cannot download or save your mix, this is app is purely for recreation and testing.

Through a series of iterative Prompts, I had Claude create the below DJ Mixer application. Claude made a mistake in the code which I told it about, there was no audio playing, it found and fixed the problem and I continued to fine-tune the app.

A few of my Prompts (after initial creation):
» my volume is up, i loaded two songs, i pressed play, but i don't hear anything.«
» i need a way to listen to either song independent of the master, so I can adjust the tempo without it playing out of the master. A split cue‘÷«
» I need the Split Cue to go in .1 increments. As an example: 128.1, 128.2, 128.3 - til it gets the next whole number of 128. I need that for all numbers.«

The mixer continues to be a work in progress, I want to brand it with my logo and company colors… an ongoing labor of curiosity and love.

Directions:

• LOAD your two audio files

• Use CUE to focus on the Deck (A or B)

• TEMPO adjust the speed of the track

• CROSSFADER to Fade between the two decks
